If you’re a supply chain manager, or a pool cleaner, or a real estate broker, or a cigar roller, God bless you for the work you do. But nobody ever grew up wanting to be you.
If you’re a nurse, on the other hand, right now, at this very moment, some kid somewhere is pretending to do your job (the good stuff, not the gross stuff).
Licensing issues aside, that’s pretty cool.
Deborah Davis was once that little kid playing nurse. Unlike the rest of us, who eventually abandoned our dreams and plugged into the matrix, Deborah pursued hers and became a nurse. Now she does her nursing for Ashton Tiffany.
(You didn’t know we had nurses? Sure, we’ve got nurses. They staff our workers’ compensation triage program.)
What else do you want to know about Deborah? She enjoys dancing, swimming, and crochet. (Deal with that, Facebook.) Her favorite food is Mexican, and she considers Coca-Cola essential to a contented life. When she’s not healing the sick on the job, she’s volunteering and doing charity work during her off-hours. Nope, she’s not afraid to run up the score on you.
Grown-up Deborah hasn’t stopped dreaming, either. These days, she dreams of a vacation cruise to the Bahamas.
We know she’ll live that dream, too. But not just yet, we hope. We like having her around.
