You see those people? We’re those people. We’ll get to them in a second.

First, though: Studies show that in news items, readers often skip the headline and go straight to the story (as far as you know). But we need you to notice our headline today. Not for what it says, but for what it doesn’t say.

What it doesn’t say is, “OOPS, WE DID IT AGAIN.” Why not? Because in popular culture, various memes, tropes, and other words whose meaning we’re not quite sure of all have a life cycle. “Oops, I did it again” has been in hospice care for years. Yet it refuses to die, taking up valuable bed space. And do you know why? Because too many people treat it as if it were a dewy infant.

We’re going to be blunt here. It’s 2015. You don’t want to be the gal who drops, “Oops, I did it again,” as if Elián González and the Dell Dude might pop in for a Pepsi Twist at any moment. And you don’t want to be the guy who says, “All be bock” in a dense Styrian accent as he leaves the room, grinning to himself, thinking, “Nailed it.”

No, you want to be the person who says, archly, “You carry personal cheese. Is that…allowed?” Deploy references like that, and people will insist on getting to know you.

All right, let’s get down to the business of what, exactly, Ashton Tiffany did again…the thing we were being recognized for in the photo. We won another award for being a damn good place to work. Specifically, we were named one of the CareerBuilder 2015 Top Companies to Work for in Arizona.

How ‘bout that?

The award goes to companies that demonstrate very high levels of employee engagement and satisfaction, along with innovative, effective practices in the areas of benefits and HR policy, and a great culture.
